SKELETONWITCH: Video Interview Posted Online

Athens, Ohio extreme metallers SKELETONWITCH are featured in a new episode of "Hard" on the newly launched AUX music channel out of Canada. Watch the segment below.

"Breathing the Fire", the new album from SKELETONWITCH, sold around 3,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 151 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at No. 2 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

Commented guitarist Scott Hedrick: "We're completely fucking stoked! It's always nice to see hard work come to fruition. I never thought SKELETONWITCH would end up on the Billboard charts! We knocked UNCLE KRACKER out of his spot from last week! Ha!

"In all honesty, though, it's still just a number, and we do this shit because we love it and couldn't do any of this without the support of metal fans. That means the most to us! That support is truly appreciated!"

"Breathing the Fire" was released on October 13 via Prosthetic Records. The CD's cover artwork was designed by Andrei Bouzikov, who has previously worked with MUNICIPAL WASTE and many others.
